National and Northern Cross Country Champs 2018 News

Ok, the next events on the calendar to start organising are the Northern and National Cross Country Championships.
The Northern Championships are in Leeds on Saturday 27th January. We usually take a mini bus down and travel back up on the evening, with a stop off in Weatherby for some of their famous fish and chips. The ladies race is a touch longer at around 5 miles and the mens is race is around 7 miles.
The National Championships are in London on Saturday 24th February.Theladies race is, again, a touch longer at around 5 miles and the mens is race is around 7 miles. In 2015 when we went to the event, 12 of us made a weekend of it and stayed in a hotel for the Friday and Saturday night, travelling back, by train, on the Sunday. It was a great weekend! There was also a mini bus which travelled there and back on the same day, so we will see about numbers and people's preferences to organise for this year.
