Ladies Group

Monday Night Ladies Information:

Come along and meet us!

If you're thinking of taking up running with a group, returning to exercise after injury or just a gap in your old routine, then you're welcome to join our lovely Ladies Monday group.

Every woman in our group started as a beginner and knows that joining a mixed group at a Registered Club can be daunting. With us, you'll be greeted warmly at our sessions, which are designed to enhance your fitness, boost your confidence, and let you enjoy the benefits of group running.

The Monday session is a social group that covers distances ranging from approximately 3 to 5 miles.

This group is perfect for those getting back into fitness, thinking about joining a club, or who can run about 3 miles at any pace.

You can try a session for free, and if it suits you, we simply ask that you become a member of the club.

We meet every Monday, see our homepage for full session details.

What happens at a typical session?

  • On arrival, one of the run leaders will greet you, introduce you to the other ladies, and guide you through our Induction Form. This is designed to gather information about your current running experience, objectives, brief medical history, and personal details, as well as to answer any questions you might have.
  • Our group sessions start with a discussion about the route, offering various options tailored to the group's abilities.
  • We begin with a fun, gentle warm-up to prepare for the session, then we're off!
  • Groups usually arrive back around 8.00pm but this can depend on the route and distance of the evening.
  • Don't worry about being left behind or holding anyone back - no one gets left behind.
  • We ask that everyone takes part at their own pace and within their own limits. To facilitate this, we encourage our quicker runners to circle back or complete extra loops, allowing them to maintain a comfortable pace while also supporting the group.

Why give it a try?

  • Whether you're looking to get in shape, lose weight, reduce work stress, socialise, or simply take a break from a hectic family schedule – our group offers it all. After attending a few sessions, you'll have the chance to decide if you'd like to become a regular member.

We hope to see you soon!
